In this chapter, Dr. Lyle and Dr. Husain discuss how oncology is a team sport. Dr. Husain believes that partnerships between pathologists and oncologists contribute to improved patient outcomes. Education, tumor boards and a multidisciplinary team approach are tools recommended by them. Dr. Husain advocates for more education and discussion around which tests and medicines are applicable to targetable, genomic alterations associated with NSCLC.
