NeoGenomics Tech-Only Program offers multiple opportunities for client pathologists to participate in the diagnostic process and provide professional component services.
In Anatomic Pathology, some testing methodologies have two distinct components: the technical component (“TC”), and the professional component (“PC”). The technical component involves test-specific sample preparation and processing to produce result data, and is always performed by NeoGenomics.
The steps to fulfill the professional component vary depending on the test ordered, and can be performed by client pathologists at their location. For additional convenience, client pathologists can view and analyze tech-only results as soon as testing is complete through NeoLINK®, our online platform for case review and reporting.
Practices utilizing this model often refer to this as a “TC/PC split” and order “Tech-Only” services from NeoGenomics. We offer training through periodic webinars, on-demand presentations within NeoUniversity (our online education portal).
