Siby Sebastian

Siby Sebastian Ph.D, FACMGG, DABCC is the Director of the Neogenomics CAP/CLIA Clinical Laboratory at the Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina.  Dr. Sebastian is board certified in clinical molecular genetics from the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG), and in molecular diagnostics from the American Board of Clinical Chemistry (ABCC).  Dr. Sebastian completed ABMGG clinical fellowship training in Clinical Molecular Genetics at Duke University Medical School. Dr. Sebastian has over 20 +years of experience in comprehensive clinical molecular biology/pathology/genetics diagnostic testing, research, teaching, and administration by directing CLIA certified and CAP accredited high complexity clinical molecular diagnostic laboratory of a quaternary care teaching hospital, and large health care system.  Before joining Neogenomics, Dr. Sebastian was professor of Pathology at Department of Pathology of Duke University of Medical Center.  He is also a College of American Pathologists (CAP) certified laboratory inspector, and holder of New York State Laboratory Director Certificate of Qualifications in Genetics and Oncology (molecular and cellular tumor markers).
