Paraffin Block: 1 Block sent with a cold pack. No zinc or mercury fixatives. Bone Marrow Aspirate: 1mL to 2mL in Sodium Heparin. EDTA tube acceptable. Peripheral Blood: 2mL to 5mL in Sodium Heparin Tube. EDTA Tube Acceptable. Bone Marrow/Peripheral Blood Smear: 1+ unstained slides. 1 slide per probe ordered.
Storage and Transportation
Storage & Transportation: Use cold pack for transport, making sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen. NYS clients please provide date and time of Collection.
