COG Chromosome Analysis is available at NeoGenomics

Certification complements unique menu of pediatric cancer tests

The Children’s Oncology Group (COG) has approved NeoGenomics to analyze pediatric cytogenetics cases in its Fort Myers, Florida location. We are currently accepting blood and bone marrow specimens from patients enrolled in research studies with COG, the world’s largest cancer research organization.

This cytogenetics certification confirms NeoGenomics’ high standards of quality in technical analysis and laboratory operations. It also complements our unique, broad menu of flow cytometry, molecular, IHC, and FISH tests addressing pediatric cancer diagnosis and prognosis. NeoGenomics is particularly well-suited to serve this patient population with conventional and numerous innovative, proprietary tests in leukemia, lymphoma, CNS tumors, melanoma, and sarcoma. These tests include cell-free DNA (cfDNA) biopsy-free NeoLAB™ tests, multiple-method NeoTYPE™ Cancer Profiles, and unique next-gen sequencing (NGS) gene fusion assays.

For pediatric patients who are not part of COG studies, chromosome analysis remains available in multiple NeoGenomics facilities. Any of our flow cytometry, cytogenetics, IHC, FISH, and molecular tests may be ordered for non-COG pediatric patients just as they can be ordered for adult patients.
