Kalpana S. Reddy

Dr. Reddy started at NeoGenomics as a Hematopathologist and Molecular Genetic Pathologist in 2021. Prior to joining here, Dr. Reddy worked as an Attending Hematopathologist, Assistant Professor and Assistant Molecular Laboratory Director for Northwell Health System, NY. She completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital, VA and Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.  Dr. Reddy also completed a Transfusion Medicine fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital; a Hematopathology fellowship at University of Utah Hospital/ ARUP Labs; and a Molecular Genetic Pathology fellowship at University of Chicago/ NorthShore University.  She is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology; Hematopathology; Transfusion Medicine/Blood Banking; Clinical Informatics; and Molecular Genetic Pathology. She has published peer-reviewed and invited articles besides numerous abstracts. She is involved in several professional organizations including AMP, AMIA, and ASCP. She is also on the ABPath Certlink Test Development/Advisory and CAP Informatics Committees. She is a member of the CGC’s T-ALL Workgroup and CAP’s Machine Learning as well as AI Ethics Working Groups.
